Please note- The music on this page was recorded a few years ago. I have been learning to play V-Drums (and cello!) and during this time have taken a hiatus from recording. I will have new music posted soon!
My music is a crunchy and melodic blend of neoclassical and bluesy hard rock. I write my own material and also do some covers and collaborations. I enjoy recording, and play the bass, keys, and program drums on my works. I hope you enjoy these tracks!
Still Got the Blues (Gary Moore)
My husband has always wanted me to learn this song, so I recorded it as a gift on our 12th wedding anniversary. This was the recording debut of my new Gibson X-Plorer Pro, which has a smaller body than a standard Explorer and finer hardware. It is built like a Les Paul, with a mahogany body, flame maple top and ebony fretboard. I ran it straight in to an early model Line6 Pod and recorded it in eMagic Logic on an M-Audio Delta 66 sound card. Drum voices are from an Alesis DM-5. Richard Smith played a Rickenbacker bass and did the final mix.
This is my last recording with robo-drums; I am learning to play on a Roland V-Tour.
WHEN WE WERE KINGS (Spisak/Almqwist)
My friend Daniel Almqwist in Sweden sent me a GuitarPro file with the title and the verse and bridge riffs. I added the intro, chorus and melodies and interlude, then recorded the song, playing all the parts.
BISHOP'S CROSSING (Spisak)
In loving memory of the late Bishop John Thayer Cahoon, Jr.
Bass guitar by Richard Smith
BACH 4.0
Two Part Invention No. 4 in D Minor by J.S. Bach, arranged for bass and guitar. Sorry- I don't have tab for this! I played it from standard notation.
Bass guitar and mix by Richard Smith (aka "Mudbass").

SWEET VENOM (Spisak)
Production of this track was halted for months because of technical problems. Finally I installed a new hard drive, then the OS, drivers and software. Now I can record again! Special guest on bass, Richard Smith (a.k.a. "Mudbass"), was indispensable in getting me back in business.
EUPHONIC CRUNCH (Spisak)
This is one of my favorite compositions, recorded before I acquired better drum production.
STAPLESNAKES (Spisak)
I found some inspiring tones on my Pandora's Box and got into "the zone"!
CHISEL HEAD (Spisak) w/ Special Guest Dave Bates!
I recorded this as a demo for Metal Method using MicroLogic and Drumtrax. Dave got inspired to add sizzling lead guitar to it. Thanks Dave!
AN ANCIENT DREAM (Spisak/Almqwist)
This was a collaboration with Daniel Almqwist of Sweden. I played, arranged and recorded all parts. I used my Line6 Pod on this. Drums on this track, as on Euphonic Crunch, were primitively produced.
TECHNO CHRIS (Hopkins/Spisak)
My friend Chris Hopkins of Wales sent me an MP3 of a techno track and I added guitar. Then I sent it to Richard Smith, my bassist, and he put his stamp on it. Chris wrote this so long ago that he forgot its title, so this will have to do!
