Lesson: Applied Arpeggios

One guest named Dave wrote to ask about applying arpeggios.
He gave me the two following forms and asked how they might be used to form licks:

Here are some ideas for these shapes:

This example is in the key of E, so the minor arpeggio above is moved to the twelfth fret.  This is the first lick in "Staplesnakes" (see My Music page).
