Lesson: Soloing Over I7-IV7-V7 Chords

As mentioned in the previous lesson, when the chord changes from A7 to D7 the A note gets a new sound. Listen to the next example to hear the A note (bent at the 12th fret G string and fretted at the 10th fret, B string) is repeated relentlessly over the A7 and D7 chords.  This creates tension. Notice how the root note of each chord is emphasized- A over A7, D over D7 and E over E7.
